Congrats man - that is a nice ride.

I was just wondering - since your car was SC (thinking of MAYBE going down this route with my current ride) - how usable was first and second as far as having the power hook up? Obviously the AWD of the GTR makes that a true monster but wondering how the SC compared in that aspect? Also - nice ride you are selling - if I were looking - I would seriously consider it bc it is tastefully done and you can tell you took very good care of the Z. Congrats again and echoing others here 'F Cancer!' :)

I’m on the same set up and pushing the same power levels as TBatt and can tell u that at this power level and being a Supercharger 1st and 2nd gear hooks up well. Unlike the Turbos the SCs level and boost effect is linear so it won’t have that crazy boost kick in on the midrange. Now if u start pushing numbers between high 500-600HP I’d definitely consider getting drag radials for street use.

My car hooks amazingly with r888r's. So much better than the NT05's I ran before.

Heading into neck surgery Wednesday to get the tumor removed and anything attached to it. No driving for a couple of weeks.

Funny how several of my friends have offered to take Godzilla out for me. Nice guys! No freaking way!

Getting a few nibbles on the Z. I will hate to see it go but Godzilla keeps looking at it and licking it's chops.

Yes, F cancer!!!!!
The tires I have on my Z are primarily for handling and not straight line acceleration (RE-11). The power can pretty easily spin the rears above 6K rpm in first and second. Because the boost builds relatively slowly, you learn to modulate the throttle according to the rpm. Remember with SC, boost = rpm.

A different tire combo can get better straight line accel but I'm more into terrorizing the twisties, which this car will do. I would say that my Z and the GT-R are pretty much matched in the handling department. The huge difference is the all wheel drive. The GT-R is a no drama rocket ship. 0-100 is unreal!

Good luck tomorrow in the surgery. I'm going to send you an email on the car itself.

NICE CAR wish u well with sx. I had melanoma in lymph glands(3) but they took out like 20 to be safe. Pray they don't mess with ur speech or eating. Make sure you get physical therapy for neck. Mine made a weak scar tissue so I have to do exercise everyday like chin tucks to keep it strong. My neck was numb so the staple removals don't hurt. Get ready for people ask u questions about scar. They do make scar cream that helps. hope this helps. God Bless:tiphat::tiphat:

TBatt,

Best of luck in the surgery. I know you will come out of there and not even have to look back...

TBatt,

Hope surgery went well and thank you for the info on the SC - I see myself going down the rabbit hole soon enough on SC'ing the Z. I'm sure in a few months time - you'll be able to put this in the 'rear view mirror' - good luck again with recovery. :)

Chiming in here with the well wishers - good luck with the surgery! Feel better soon! Congrats on building a great car!

Thanks guys for all of the support!

The surgery went well but I'm still in some pain, mostly from not being able to drive the GT-R.........

I'm going to have quite a scar but it will be fine. Just think of the stories I can tell....

I now have two guys that seem to be seriously interested in the Z. May the best guy win!

Thanks again, you guys are great!!!!
