I thought this thread was going to be about halted production for the JDM market.
Apparently, quality control has been so bad that they stopped production in all Japanese facilities and recalled 1.2 million cars for re-inspection after a government audit found faults. None of this affected cars built in Japan for export (because the government doesn't care about that and Nissan can get away with it, I'd venture to say).
