I have had two 350z's and I'd love to upgrade to the 370, but the resale values on these cars are so low, it makes it tough.

My 07 has dropped 41% in value since I purchased it new in April of 07. So obviously, I did not put nearly enough down to account for the freefalling depreciation of the 350. Not sure if it's the economy or what, but 41% is just disgusting . So I am seriously upside down in the loan.

Buying at the end of the body style run was probably a bad idea, but I did get the best of the z33 by far and it has been an absolute blast.

I could just take the hit on my cash savings, but I am not sure if the 370 is faster enough to warrant that. With some bolt-ons and NO tune, I am putting down 296HP/260WTQ - SAE corrected. No doubt the 370's handling is in another league, so it's tempting. And that SyncroRev-match is the best thing I never knew I needed.

I think the 370 is a logical upgrade for 03-05 350z owners. Nissan made interior improvements to the 350 in 06 (I flat-out did not like the interiors in the 03-05) and the engine upgrade to HR in 07-08.

So the 370 is:
- a much better overall car than the 03-05 350z
- a more powerful and better handling car than the 06
- a better handling car than the 07-08's.

I am still trying to decide if I want to upgrade. I was saving for a GTR, but I just can't stomach a $5k brake job when the time came - that's just rediculous. Maybe when I'm older.

I may wait to see what Stillen's 370 supercharger does and then make a decision. I think the 370 is a much better platform to sink $$ into.

If I did not live in Cali, I would just TT the HR 350z and do some suspension mods, but if I get caught with a turbo in this state, they can impound the car, or at a minimum, fine me and I pay $2k to have the car put back to stock! There are no CA legal FI systems for the 07-08 HR engines.

I do hate the 370's blind spots in the back. This car needs split back-up cams so you can see. And the high hood/windshield line (A result of the new, larger shared FM platform) in combination with the large and high mirrors makes for a serious blind spot where the center medians are when making a left-hand turn. I had to move my head around to see past those big mirrrors. Also, the trunk is considerably smaller than the 350 - even though they moved the brace forward.

But the 370 has a MUCH better Bose stereo in the touring. Voice-activated nav is cool. Using the nav display for playlist and music folder browsing and other menu browsing while using the buttons on the steering wheel is just cool. I LOVE the faux suade inserts in the leather seats. My list of cool could go on... you get the idea.

I'd like to see the z34 nismo too before I make a move.
