I was just researching this idea, then found this thread. What are the opinions on the 'vette-style hood vent at this link:

Would require some creative fabrication, and maybe trimming on the under-hood frame.
Another idea that could work in concert with such a hood vent is a shroud that fits around the radiator/intercooler and snugs tight against the vent when the hood is closed.
