Comp Turbo got back to me today through email. Basically they said sorry I am having an issue with a product... that is why they warranty it for 12 months and to send it back to them so they can verify it.

What is everyone's opinion on cases like this..... Lets say I just dropped 14 grand on a new turn key built engine. Then this happens and POOF money down the drain due to a faulty turbo....I understand the turbo warranty but if it is a faulty turbo how do companies get away with selling a defective product and not get held liable for damages from a faulty product...like an engine?
