They are made of 100% titanium.
Titanium Ti on the periodic table is one of the lightest / strongest metals In the world... it's Most commonly used in airplanes actually... and it was Adapted into the car world for it awesome weight Reductions it provides.

The burnt part is because titanium burns
Very beautiful when heat is applied
At various temperatures.
No other metals will burn to these
Beautiful bright colors that I know about.

So, technically The burn is just an asthetic more or less.
It's actually more about the material itself...
Burn Color is the added bonus it provides when heat
Applied to it.
