Tire warranties are not worth it IMHO. Realistically a tire warranty's only value is for tire replacement if there is damage to the sidewall. Also appreciate that they may deduct any payout based on the mileage of the tire.

Also the manufacturer mileage warranties on tires is a joke. Because you do not rotate the tires on a Z, the manufacturers automatically cut the warranted mileage in 1/2. Thus, that 30,000 mileage warranty is really only 15,000 miles, and if you do make a claim, the manufacturer will pro rata any payout based on the mileage of the tire. Consequently, you might get a $20 rebate per tire. Frankly, I find that it's not worth the trouble making a warranty claim, and your better off shopping the manufacturers' specials.
