I have a several mile long spot on my drive to/from work over a dam; and that's straight, flat, unused, and 45mph. The Z will show like 28mpg average over that distance if I stay at 45mph, which is the best I ever see out of it.
Otherwise, yeah, putting MPG meters and estimators in the Z had to be someone's idea of funny.
