There is definitely a lot to account for when engineering an air to water intercooler system. You need to look at the volume of water, the size of the heat exchanger, the size of the intercooler, the speed of the water...There is a lot that goes into developing an adequately sized air to water intercooler system.

Fortunately we have a lot of experience with air to water intercoolers being incorporated into the intake manifold like we've done on our 350Z and our Nissan Titan. Actually, the heat exchanger that we're using out front, is larger than any heat exchanger Magnusson supercharger's uses on any of their V8 kits.

On the 350Z a few years ago we actually did a test with 9 other cars all equipped with forced induction kits. Only two of the cars were able to complete all of the laps around the track without overheating or going into limp mode. One was our car and if memory serves correctly, I think the other was the Greddy twin turbo car.
