Good Morning All for YOUUston.

Just another day in paradise. All have been repped with Mr. K always being the first one so anointed.

Yesterday was fun. I spent FOUR hours in a lawyer's office trying to close on my son's new townhouse. He's out of the country business, so I had to sign everything on a power of attorney.

After the title company realized they had effed up the power of attorney (POA), they had to FedEx up a new copy that my son then had to take to the American Consulate in Calgary to get notarized. WTF???

Then in the lawyer's office, after I signed about 50 different pieces of paper, and the lawyer submitted the paperwork to the lender, it was rejected because of the way I signed it. Each signature had to include specific language -

Jeff XXX, by Mike XXX, as Attorney-in-Fact. No missed commas or periods. WTF???

So I had to re-sign all the documents all over again. Considering these people got paid over $12K to prepare the paperwork, you would think they could get it right.

I don't think I have ever closed on a property where there wasn't some issue with the paperwork. The entire real estate business from the agents to the lawyers are a bunch of dumbasses that make loads of money in spite of themselves.

Rant over. The house is his. Mom gets to play interior decorator now and I get to pay for it, so everyone is happy.

Now to focus on my next car. Waiting patiently for the Z35 debut, but still seriously thinking about a Shelby GT350. After driving a friend's, I have to say that I am might impressed.

Mr. JAR - remember Bryan who had the Gun Metallic Nismo with the Nismo stripes? He's parked next to me in your signature picture. he's the one who bought the Shelby and LOVES it.

Okay, I'm back from the Dark Side now.

Have a great day all.
