Default re: Crossfire, etc.

Thanks.... Yeah, I drove the Crossfire in to work today, and I'm having kind of a tough time parting with it now. Wish I could afford to keep it AND the new Z, but that's really unrealistic.... Already have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon I'm still paying on.

We do have two pre-teens coming up on driving age, but if we get them anything, it's going to be a cheap, basic car that gets good gas mileage ... not something high performance.

The Nismo really feels "tighter" all around and the brakes feel much firmer and more responsive than the Crossfire ... but with the custom Eurocharged tune, the Crossfire and the Nismo Z put out about the same HP. At the end of the day, the Z feels like the superior performer, but that Crossfire holds its own for being 12 years old, and having used older generation tech from Mercedes even when it was new!
