I always tell them DONT wash it or peel the plastic stuff off. Do the safety inspection and do NOT test drive it.
When I get there I take the plastic off and they let me wash or spray off myself and I tape the front with painters tape and take to get clear film put on
I'm more particular than anyone I know...
Also check the PSI in tires before you leave. My 13' Nismo had 55 or so PSI. My 17' Nismo had 36 or so... and check for yourself if the spacers were removed in the front springs.
