Finally decided to give this a whirl. Got my XSBs in this week, looking to get started this weeked.
Has anyone successfully wired in the switchbacks and gotten them to work properly? This thread kind of died down before the XSBs took off. I found a video of them working properly, but no instructions or details are given:

Also, the installation guide specifically tells you not to use glue to secure the halos. Has this always been the case, even with the older halos?
