how low did you drop the car? In reality, any drop warrants an alignment but if you went .5+ inches down you need new suspension hardware to properly align the car.

Youll need after market camber arms,toe bolts, and front A arms to get proper adjustment. The skating around the road sounds familiar to my Z. It was due to EXTREMELY bad toe in the rear. I went through a set of tires in under 5 months with minimal negative camber.
