So the kid did something stupid in a fast car. Well that's to be expected and is why you as a parent don't let your kid have a fast car. Kid in high school died that way, 2nd day with a license (or close to that). Parents bought him a brand new camaro z28. Rolled it and died, a friend was in the passenger seat and lived, luckily.

Learn on something slow and underpowered but still handles and work up the power as you learn to drive. Can still get into trouble on a twisty road but it's a lot easier to get yourself out.
