Default My New Nismo 370Z 6MT w/Tech

Hello Everyone!!

I just picked up a gorgeous Nismo Z in 6MT w/Tech and have some big plans for it that I will do right away. Found it brand new in Tampa, FL and got a deal I could not refuse.

Previous cars:

1. 2007 Carbon Silver Nissan 350Z 6MT BASE
2. 2008 Obsidian Black G37S AT
3. 2013 Obsidian Black G37S 6MT/Nav
4. 2013 GT-R Black Edition
5. 2017 Nismo 370Z 6MT/Tech

Below are my previous "Builds".

About 2 months ago my 2013 GT-R (Black Edition) was hit in my own parking garage while I was inside my place by a drunk driver who destroyed it. This was the most heartbreaking thing to see after i got the call to come upstairs to the scene.

Pics are HERE

I found my GT-R 16 months ago with only 2,500 miles in showroom condition at a great price so I parted out my 2013 G37 immediately to get it. 16 months and 53K miles later it was totaled out and left me speechless. Some upsides to this whole situation so overall not the worst thing that could have happened. Blessing maybe? I had modded the GT-R with everything I wanted to do and was not going to go beyond that point and already was racking up more and more miles since it was my daily driven show/track car. I took long road trips out of town very often while racing it at PBIR and still daily the car to work and weekly car meets. Had a blast with it every chance I could.

I did FBO (Full Bolt-On's) with E85/flex fuel and was making around 630 AWHP. The car was SOLID! Bill at Spray it Racing tuned the car and never once had a single issue. No CEL nothing! I will have him do the tuning on my Z in the future even fter all those miles and abuse I did to it haha. Really had a good time but to be honest I was starting to get bored. Once I saw the 2017 GT-R come out I wanted it. I said many times I wanted to part out my current GT-R and save for a 17 but were selling 30-40K more then what you can get a 15/16 these days and must live within my means. Can't go too crazy lol.

Here was my mod list. The only thing I never got to install was my Varis fenders with the Vossen x Work 20x11/12.5 VWS-1 wheels. I had all brand new ready to install and change the look of my car but then was hit and just started selling everything.

I was able to put the car 100% back to stock and sold all the parts I had to local friends.

So once my GT-R was parted out completely and the car was totaled I was now back to square one. No car and the choice on which route to take.

Option 1:

Another GT-R! 2015/2016 Black Edition newer/updated but essentially still the same car and to do all over again maybe a bit different did not interest me anymore. I guess it was always a dream to own/mod one and already got to fulfill that. Sort of a been there done that type of feeling.

Option 2: Keep saving money and go for the 2017 GT-R which again is a great idea but financially was not best. Dealers are asking so much for them. I just was not ready and again must live within my means.

Option 3: Get a less expensive car and wait it out until more options come in the near future. So many great cars out there that will be available soon so why rush it. I spent 2 months with no car trying to decide all this and got tired of renting cars, asking for rides and calling ubers lol.

One thing is for sure. I did not want to leave the Nissan community so here I am again. I really love this platform and have some plans for the Z that are happening very fast!

Gonna keep things simple and clean. Maybe TT it later down the road

1st impressions. I absolutely love the interior. Power is ok but I wasn't looking for anything crazy so I am ok with it for the type of driving I do. Exterior is very different and not one Nismo in my area so it's pretty unique.

I really wish the GT-R had these seats! The interior really sold me.

Beautiful Recaro's

Magnetic Black FTW!

Wasn't a fan of the new Nismo's exterior but really love it in person.

Sunset with the Z

Removing the fender flares ASAP! DO NOT LIKE

1st mod is the DRL mod. Did this on my GT-R. Way easier on the Z!

Took 10 minutes but it's so much nicer.
