Why not? A Saloon can have equal or better acceleration, braking, or cornering grip.
Hell the Macan Turbo beats the Z on the first 2 and grips at 0.89g vs the Z's 0.90g.
So similar performance, similar price point, and then you're really just weighing what size/space you prefer.
