Sometimes it goes into 3rd like butter, sometimes you can feel/hear 3rd engaging (metal on metal but again NO grinding) and sometimes it's a much more subdued notchiness that's felt going into 3rd.

I was on Redline MT85 fluid when this happened and this past weekend I switched over to OEM Nissan 75w-85 fluid. No difference.

This doesn't really happen when shifting into 3rd at higher RPM (4-5k and up) and I notice it more shifting around the 3k rpm range.

Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts and experiences on this.

Thanks
I have a 2010 Nismo ,mine does that as well, you just have to find the sweet spot ,I think it is perfectly normal. It happenes to me when I am slow to shift and at lower rpms.
