Use one of those "pool noodles", the bigger one; color is optional. Cut one to length to simulate the spare wheel dimensions, run a rope through it to keep it coiled, place it below the subwoofer, adjust, and tighten.

Keep in mind that the spare wheel and tire is part of the body rigidity when it comes to crashworthiness. You're on your own regarding this.
