Alternative is the csc is partially pressuring the pressure plate (like you already have your foot partly on the clutch.

This needs measuring up.

Thrust race on csc needs to be free from pressure plate fingers with no pressure in the clutch line (eg: foot not on clutch).

I am not familiar with Z1 csc kit - is it concentric with the input shaft of gearbox ... if so, it needs adjustment to remove pre-load on the pressure plate.

If it is a fork-type, you should be able to adjust externally.

Anyone familair with the Z1 csc kit available to assist ....
He doesn't have the Z1 csc elimination kit, he has the zspeed HD csc. It is still a concentric slave, it doesn't have a fork.
