The Berreta 92 is a great gun. Some of the newer variants have thinner grips. Especially the the latest M9A3 which has a thinner grip and uses wrap around grip panels to change the thickness of the grip.

IIRC Glock bulge has more to do with the .40 S&W (and 10mm) models due to the higher pressures those rounds have. I've heard that 9mm and .45 ACP (and GAP) models don't really have that issue but it is possible when shooting very hot loads. It comes from the chamber not being fully supported. There are some reloading dies out there that will fix cases with Glock bulge. For 9mm I wouldn't worry about it and IMO reloading 9mm is not worth it due to very cheap bulk ammo out there.
