Follow their scheduled maintenance recommendations and your engine will last for years (automotive manufacturers don't want to replace engines under warranty any more than you want to go through the loss of use of your vehicle for same). If you choose to use Redline, Mobil 1, Amsoil, PepBoys special of the week or any other API certified oil in your engine, dino or synthetic, then guess what? Your engine will last for years (under normal driving conditions). Funny how that works isn't it? Don't try to out guess the SAE members. Would you trust your plumber in recommending treatment for your bowel pain? Hey, it's just a sewage system ain't it?
