Unhappy Tire Rack Purchased - Continental DWS 06's wearing unbelievably fast?

I have DWS 06's in the rear. I have a little more than 6k miles on them and they're easily 3/4 of the way gone. Tire wear is perfectly even, I have yet to check the alignment. Tire pressure's are set at 35 PSI.

I have Nitto Motivo's on the fronts and they're wearing as they should.

No burnouts, launches, tracking, etc. Some some spirited driving with moderate cornering during the 6k miles I've had them. I'd say over 3/4 of the miles have been highway miles.

Is it possible I just got a bad set? The warranty is 25k miles for rears and my car doesn't even have 15k miles.

If I did get a bad set, how much of a hassle will Tire Rack / Continental give me to get replacements?
