There's a million threads on the topic. The replacement part is 3-400 and the labor cost is whatever it costs for your local shop to r&r the transmission. Most people do a clutch and flywheel at the same time since the labor is the same. You need a new master cylinder at the same time.

There's no average life on the csc. It has died when people test drive brand new cars. You're on borrowed time lol.
