If we all lived in Florida where the cars warm up a bit quicker, we'd all probably do like you.
But some of us unfortunately live in colder climate where the oil is a bit cold affecting cold start viscosity.
I usually wait until the oil temp is at least 180. When below it is 3500rpm max shifts.
