No i did not install it myself..... I planned to self install but after the cost of everything else was nearing $850 i opted to accept the additional $100 to let them save me that trouble.
The custom fiberglass box alone was $550 (including wrapped). I had to also buy a LOC as i have the bose sound system and didnt want to swap that out for an aftermarket system (i love my steering wheel controls & navigation).
The post i came across wasnt specifically on an install job but rather people asking about putting a sub & box in a roadster..... someone then responded showing options. you can find it here at
