The exhaust was bought brand new from Invidia and the gaskets were sent by them as well. The system is loud in the first place so a difference in that would not be noticed.

Your brand new exhaust came with a damaged flange?
I would be sending that pic to Invidia and getting a new exhaust.
Barring that, some Red RTV sealant on the damaged flange with new gaskets should take care of the leak
