Yes that is correct. Any intakes like the gen 3s would work as well.

I don't max out with the nismo bumper and was trying to see if anybody else with cold air intakes and the same from fascia experience this as well.

When I log the car with the filter and elbow disconnected (basically open MAF tube) I max out the grams per second but can't do it with filter connected.

I believe these 15-16 nismo bumpers don't force air to intakes that are positioned like gen 3s, aam intakes, z1 intakes, etc
