Personally I went with an Optima Yellow, I went with a yellow top that's bigger than recommended, but still smaller than the OEM battery. So more CCA than the red top.

When you say you got one that's bigger than recommended, which model # would that be?

Optima's site recommends the 8040-218 D35 YELLOWTOP for the Z.
