OOPs, sorry man, been away from the site for a bit. I got them from Hitlights.com.
Used this kit:
Eclipse Luma10 RGB LED Accent Kits
But, I upgraded the remote/controller to RF instead of IR:
Luma10 Series - R108 Multicolor LED Controller - With RF Remote Control
This kit has many different modes, colors and brightness control. I chopped off the 12V transformer from the cable and hard wired it to the back of the power outlet since a car is 12V already (use red wire for positive, black to chassis).
I used a 3mm LED from amazon for the overhead ambient light:

Turned out to be a perfect match. Oh, and I also went down one resistor size to up the brightness a little bit.
