Going by what I've read, sales are up for most guns - S&W stock made a nice jump recently.

I can get centerfire ammo locally but rimfire stuff can be hard to find. Local stores are frequently out of .22 LR and I had to drive 35 miles to get some .22 Magnums. .17 WMRs are usually in stock but often only in limited quantities (1 or 2 boxes).
12 gauge shells are still plentiful.
"Specialty" ammo (LAP, tracer, flechette, &c), is no problem since
Firequest is located in town. I can get some good deals buying stuff that they are discontinuing or don't have enough of to put in the catalog.
