I am a new 370z owner as well and am right down the freeway from you in Glendale (about 101 & Camelback Westgate area. Your post caught my eye because I am also a previous owner of a 1978 280z - in the early 80's. I just bought a white/grey 2014 Touring Sport Nav - two days ago. Feels like coming home again after being away for so long. Haha. Since you in the west valley we might cross paths on the road. If I see another white one I'll give a honk and a wave to you.
