Not a major problem apart from the fact if I drive off immediately then I don't need the accelerator as the car simply pulls me along until the revs drop down - I can drive half a mile without touching the throttle ! Its like driving a frisky horse that just wants to bolt !

The only way round it seems to be to accelerate PAST the 1500rpm and then brake - it then seems to behave normally.

Any ideas ? I know I'm going to have to take it in which is a ball ache as I'm pushed for time and on an 8 week old £40k car !

Cheers
The ambient temps in your neck of the woods has dropped noticeably in the past few weeks - right ?

That is the only thing to change and it is entirely normal.

Either wait for 30 seconds or ride the brake for the first 30 seconds.

If you are really aggrieved, don't blame Nissan but the numpties who force cold start/slow idle-down to avoid excessive emissions on cold-start.
