When my 350 was at 650whp i could hook second on concrete and thats about it. I like the Nitto NT05R's, and the ET street 2's. They only last about 3k miles but they will hook in second almost every time. I have the Toyo Tq's on my car now. They were ok in the beginning but fade off towards the end. I did manage to get 10K miles out of them. There slightly better then the R888 but not as good as the Nt05 or ETs2.

Good luck on the tuning!
Thanks man! Love the tire recommendations. Saving this just for that. I fully plan to be going through tires quite often and trying out all kinds. This is great info. Not a daily driver, so I am looking for more stick than longevity.
