Default Brake ducts, Cold Air, and Ram Intake question.

Okay so I have an idea and I'd like to get people's opinions on it.

A while ago I got a deal on Nismo RC style carbon fiber brake ducts. I hadn't installed it yet as I got it mainly for looks, as I don't really have a need for brake cooling (don't track very often).

Today I picked up the Nismo R-Tune CAI.

I'm wondering it it would be reasonable to pipe the ducts to the area of the CAI filters (in front of the wheel wells). In my mind it would give the intake more direct outside ram air rather than pulling from the air behind the bumper.

I know it probably wont make any difference performance-wise, but it was just an idea I had. Is it completely stupid? Should I even bother?
