While it is not uncommon to boil brake fluid on the track it's not very likely to happen with a DD (if you are boiling the brake fluid in a DD, maybe you need to re-evaluate your driving habits). My guess is that there was either some air trapped in the lines that has worked its way out or you have a leak. Refill reservoir and check often. If it starts dropping, check for leaks.
