Hindsight is always 20/20, but I think there's a good lesson to be refreshed here about the dangers of working on your car on the side of the road. I've seen cops get rear ended when they were completely outside of the driving lane with lights flashing. So a black car still partially in the left hand driving lane at night just seems like a recipe for disaster.
