I'd give Tony at call at FI. He can better explain the issue of drone and how resonators work. In sum, drone occurs at specific frequencies and the resonators are designed to mute those frequencies (it's simply a resonating chamber that cancels those sound waves in a specific frequency).

Your AAM short tails may be contributing to your drone, Mufflers, while primarily intended to quiet an exhaust, can also assist in reducing drone as they both operate to cancel sound waves.

Personally, if the drone is a problem and you want loud exhaust, I'd speak with an exhaust shop regarding the addition of a couple of resonators, or you could try to add an after market mid pipes with resonators.
