Nissan 370Z picks up a Malaysian EVO COTY award

The Nissan 370Z has won the Best Two-Door Coupe Category in Malaysian EVO's inaugural Performance Car of the Year Awards 2009.
"The 370Z stunned us from the moment we saw it, till long after the test drive was over. It is a vast improvement over its predecessor and this car embodies all the attributes that make up a truly inspiring two-door sports coupe. With its bold new exterior styling complemented by a sublime drive-train and near perfect ride and handling, the new 370Z is a formidable package at a third of the price of anything its European competition can throw at it," Malaysian EVO's editor Chris Wee said.
The award was presented to Edaran Tan Chong Motor's general manager of product planning, Christopher Tan, and senior general manager of marketing, Kuan Kim Luen, recently. Also on hand to present the award to the ETCM team was Ahmad Zulizwan, the motoring editor of Malaysian EVO.
The EVO Performance Car of the Year comprises 13 categories and a nominees' list that isn't all pure exotics. Since it's the very first time the bonnie lads have done this, the publication decided to reach back to cars that it has tested from the beginning of 2008 up until Oct this yea
