Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Dealer said it would take 8 months to order a Z?!

I ordered a 350Z back in 2008 and the dealer told me it would take six months. I said it was fine and put down my deposit. After four months, the dealer called, apologized, and said the car they ordered turned out to be the 370Z, which wasn't even released yet. I'm speculating, but perhaps the Z35 is near production?
