My other car does it too... Especially the one with ULEV. I don't think it has to do with the flywheel. throttle just hangs momentarily to burn off fuel.
Once you get use to it though you'll learn to time urself for the shift and it won't bother you. Since my other car hangs worse (and is a MT) the Z never bothered me at all.
