I would use Redline if you are driving the car on the street.

Only time I would suggest Royal Purple is to a race team that would be rebuilding the diff every season or every race.

Royal purple is very very thin. You want thicker gear oil.

That being said, that is why a lot of people see slight horsepower gains with Royal Purple, because it is so thin that it offers little resistance.
