If your serious about your sound quality, like it appears you are, yes, dynamat the entire car. would I pay a shop $800 to do it? No. not because I think the price is high, but because it is reasonably easy to do it yourself, and you will know its done right.
As for the sub, I use the stereo integrity bm mark 4. It blends so perfectly with the front stage, you would think it was in the dash.
If you want to rattle your teeth loose, this is not your sub. this is strictly a sound quality unit.
