I think it's the rev matching on the 7 AT that makes it work so much better. You can't do hard downshifts in the other cars like you can the Z so you can't drop into the top end of a gear.

Never drove an auto Z but I could downshift my BMW from 6th to 4th to go into a corner if thats what you mean? I mean don't get me wrong it worked well, just not my cup of tea.
