Default Insight Needed: Nismo vs Sport Model Bumper Fitment

I know there are threads about this and I also know there is a lot needed to make a 2013 and older nismo bumper fit a sport model 370z, however i'm looking for a little insight. I'm planning on taking my current bumper to paint in the next 1-2 weeks and have located a local nismo bumper that I can borrow during this time. My car will mostly be sitting at a shop and I'll only need to drive it about 15 miles on the highway to get it there. That being said, will I be able to rig the nismo bumper to my sport model car and make it secure enough for my short trip? i'm not terrible concerned about the splash guard during this time, I guess my real concern is the wheel liners and whether or not they will fit or be damaged in the process. Is there anything else im missing?
