That and I've noticed that the weave on their carbon fiber is often times laid in a haphazard manner (i.e. the weave goes in all sorts of directions rather than following the flow of the actual body panel - see below).

A Fujimura carbon fiber rear diffuser (what the Evo R is a copy of) can be had for $400 shipped from RHDJapan.com. Much higher quality and basically the exact same price as the Evo R copy.
