Yes you're correct. I'm using a 275 on a 10.5 rear wheel which probably wouldn't hurt if I stepped up to a 305. Well have look into that, may have go back with a 10.5 width.
That would be dependent on your ride height. Are you stock height, lowering springs, coil overs? If you're low enough to scrape fenders then this would need to be factored in for proper clearance.

"Stanced" vs performance is a delicate balance. Are you wanting to stay within factory camber specs?
