We can easily create the javascript framework to interface with the obd module (if not available already) and integrate it to an app built using html+
js. There are plenty of libraries out there for making and customizing gauges and other controls (I happen to own licenses for a few of them) that we could use to make a pretty clean, tab-friendly, user interface. On the other hand, I am not sure about the scalability options going that route, I've only developed win8 apps using C#.
