I know it's hard to really turn down something you want. It's good that your trying to work it out from a financial view. Just remember you want it to be a good positive experience. spreading yourself thin and always stressing about being able to pay all your bills might take away from your purchase experience. Wouldn't want you to regret buying a 370. Having said that,if you feel you can deal with a financial strain for a year, and you have job stability,I say go for it
Hopefully in a year you'll get a decent settlement from your Hollywood experience and be able to buy the car outright! And if it's 100% his fault, you should get your 1000$ deductible back. Good luck man
