My opinion, Dont drop down to the kids level. Be the cop and just arrest him.
Violence never stops violence, it perpetuates it. But i guess logic is lost.
This officer is supposed to be a professional and sadly he let a kid get under his skin and now he is nothing more than a bully cop picking on a kid.
Yes kids are getting out of hand, but they are kids. If you as an adult are not intelligent enough to understand that this is what kids do, then you are the moron. They act like morons they test adults. In this instant the kid won. He brought the cop down to his level and made the cop angry and the cop attacked him. The cop should have body slammed him cuffed him and taken him in for attacking an officer. This cop may lose his job due to his unprofessional behavior. Cops can be JACK ASSES TOO. We don't know what started it, yes it was probably the kid, but cops are not employed to beat people and get in fights. Do you job and that does not include pointing machine guns and getting into fist fights with teenagers. This cop is just as much an idiot as the kid.
